 A Cricket Bowler had a # base of Distal Phalynx which got malunited. Now He have painfull restriction of Movments. What to do now?

 I had done the arthodesis in 15 degree flexion for DIP Joint

 I think loss of movment at dip joint is of less significance. he was able to achive painfree stable joint. He is now more then happy b'use he have devloped some trick for bowling and said it's an advantage to have a bent stable index finger. Besides this there were very limited options avilable.
